From Prometheus

In celebration of the Prometheus 30th Anniversary (1992 – 2022), God of Fire KKP Special Reserve was released for the first time in 2022. Since then, the cigars have been shipped to our select authorized retailers in very limited quantities. They are available in three vitolas: Toro Extra 54 (54 X 6 1/4), Gran Toro 56 (56 X 6) and Piramide 58 (58 X 5 1/4). God of Fire KKP Special Reserve is made with the Very Special Wrapper (VSW) grown at Chateau de la Fuente and Dominican filler and binder tobaccos.

Review:

These cigars come in an extravagant humidor with one of my favorite packaging in the cigar industry. The humidor comes in a nice leather pouch inside a decorative box. These cigars not only taste great but have such a wow factor on the presentation side of it, which makes it a great gift for any occassion.

The cold draw had creamy sweet notes of cedar. And when you put the foot up to your nose it has that sweet tang that only special Fuente cigars like the Opus X have. Carlito Fuente Jr has talked about it before that the farm on Chateau de la Fuente where the tobacco for the opus x wrapper is grown produces that certain smell that is so unique.

The first and second third brought back memories of familiar notes from the regular line opus x cigars. When smoking these higher end Fuentes like the angel’s share, the 20th anniversary, and this God of fire I always get these notes that you can describe as cedar and a sweet tang, but its just full of creamy tobacco notes.

The final third becomes bolder with a richer and darker flavors of nuts and oak. These darker notes created a well rounded flavor for a great finish that doesn’t leave a harsh after taste.

Overall I always enjoy these luxury Fuente cigars made for Prometheus like the opus x heaven and earth series and the God of Fire Serie B. These KKP are Prometheus owner personal name brand cigar which he takes a special pride in because they have his initials on the band, and they do not disappoint. For smokers that aren’t the type to pick up and smoke a $40-$50 cigar and for the huge Opus X fans who wont give it a shot because it doesn’t have the signature opus x logo on the band. Smoke this one from first puff till your fingers burn because every note through each transitions is an enjoyable, with a sweet and bitter less finish.
