EL REY DEL MUNDO SHADE GROWN CIGARS

A new line of El Rey del Mundo Shade Grown cigars is heading to retailers soon, and it’s made with Connecticut-seed wrappers grown in Honduras under shade. Comes in El Rey del Mundo Shade Grown Robusto cigars and El Rey del Mundo Shade Grown Toro cigars. Called El Rey del Mundo Shade Grown, the Honduran smokes will start shipping to retailers on the first of July. Rolled at the HATSA factory in Honduras, the cigars are made entirely of Honduran tobacco. Much like shade tobacco grown in the Connecticut River Valley, this shade grown wrapper was grown in the Talanga Valley under tenting, which filters the sun’s rays, resulting in a thinner, more pristine leaf that’s lighter in color and body. From Jamastra, the binder holds together a filler blend from Copan and Jamastran.
