Tatuaje Cojonu 2012: Book & New Blends Now in Stock at Miami Humidor! Tatuaje 2012 Cojonu Book Cigars. In addition to the 21-count boxes, Tatuaje has reached back into its history to bring back another new packaging option, specifically a 24-count box designed to look and open like a book. Carrying an MSRP of $312, the Cojonú Two 12’s 2nd Edition contains 12 each of the new Tatuaje Cojonú 2012 Corojo and Cojonú 2012 Tuxtla cigars. This is the second time that Tatuaje has released a cigar box containing Cojonú 2012 cigars that was designed to look like a book: the first incarnation of the packaging was released in 2012 and contained 12 each of the Cojonú 2012 Capa Especial and Reserva blends, which are now called the Cojonú 2012 Sumatra and Broadleaf lines, respectively.
The new Cojonú Two 12’s 2nd Edition was only available to retailers that purchased a set of each of the five Cojonú 2012s in 21-count boxes. For every one set—five boxes—of Cojonús a retailer purchased, the store was able to get one of the Two 12’s 2nd Edition books, though retailers were only able to order up to five books. According to Johnson, box sets and Cojonú books are scheduled to ship to retailers “in about two months.”
