Some cigar releases are products. Others become history. The Fuente & Padrón Legends project belongs firmly in the second category.

The idea for the Fuente & Padrón Legends collaboration was first announced in 2021, immediately capturing the attention of cigar collectors worldwide. It was later unveiled with tremendous excitement at the 2022 PCA Convention & Trade Show, where hundreds gathered to witness what many considered the most significant cigar collaboration of the decade.
This project was created by Carlito Fuente and Jorge Padrón as a tribute to their fathers — Carlos Fuente Sr. and José Orlando Padrón — two icons who helped define the modern premium cigar industry. The result is not just a cigar release, but a celebration of legacy, craftsmanship, and friendship between two legendary families.
Each Legends presentation humidor contains forty cigars: twenty produced by Arturo Fuente and twenty produced by Padrón. Both are rolled in an elegant 7×50 Churchill format. The Fuente cigar is round, while the Padrón cigar is box-pressed — a subtle detail that reflects each brand’s signature style. Production was intentionally limited, adding to the collectible status of this release.
Carlito Fuente described the project best when speaking about his first concept for the blend — a cigar he imagined one day handing personally to José Orlando Padrón, asking simply, “This is for you — tell me what you think.” That spirit of respect and admiration became the foundation of the Legends release.
Today, the Fuente & Padrón Legends humidor stands as one of the most sought-after collector cigar sets in recent history — not only for its rarity, but for what it represents in cigar culture.
